“Telling the bees” is inspired by the old grieving practise where the bees are informed of important events, such as births, deaths and marriages. It was believed that if the bees wasn’t put into mourning they would be offended, and stop making honey or leave their hive.
In this publication, we want to say our last goodbye to spaces that are waiting to be torn down and demolished.

The first chapter took place in Remise in Friedensallé 45 in Hamburg 1.-8. December 2024. This wonderful space is waiting to be torn down in the next couple of months. Thank you for having us, the lovely team @remise_artspace and co-artist @janina.santamarina!
